Our Therapists

Nimi Patel, PT, DPT and owner of Petal Pediatrics, is a licensed Physical Therapist in Virginia. She received her Bachelor and Doctorate education at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Nimi is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association under the Pediatric section. She has over three years of experience working in pediatrics in a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, inpatient hospitals, schools, and early intervention, prior to beginning her own private practice in 2024. 

Outside of treating clients, Nimi is an avid reader of both fiction and non-fiction books. She loves to spend time outdoors to hike, bike, and picnic with good food. On colder days, you can find her at the gym indoors or playing volleyball. Nimi loves to travel and support small businesses, both locally in the DMV area and across the globe. Her favorite place to visit is Spain, and one of her big goals is to become fluent in Spanish to better serve the community!
